Interview with Jennifer Blaney + GIVEAWAY!!

Hello my lovelies! Today is a very very VERY exciting day! First of all, it's Valentine's Day!!! There are a ton of giveaways happening right now so be sure to get in on those :)

The other reason today's a very exciting day is I have the utterly awesome Jennifer Blaney joining me on The Lindsay Show! Jennifer is a very close friend of mine and she just released her debut paranormal romance, A Special's Love. Trust me when I tell you that you NEED this book! It's wonderful, it really is. I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than by interviewing a romance author :) So sit back, relax, have some chocolates (I have it on good authority that Valentine's candy has no calories), and enjoy the interview!

Be sure to stick around and leave a comment after the interview for your chance to win a copy of this spectacular book!

Interview

Thank you so very much for joining me Jennifer! First let me congratulate you on publishing your first book :) That's so awesome <3 When did you know you wanted to be a writer?

When I was a little girl just never got the courage till now.

Well I think it's fantabulous that you took that plunge! I am loving your book <3 What has been the most difficult part about being a writer?

 The edits ughhhh

OMG I couldn't agree more!! Who are your favorite authors?

There is you and to be honest they all are awesome

Ok now you're making me blush <3 I love you, you know that? What authors inspire you?

The indie publishers who have made it, if they can do it, so can I

I have total faith that you're going to make it sweetie! Are you a plotter or a pantser with your writing?

A little of both I think lol

LOL absolutely nothing wrong with that! What type of books do you like to read?

Paranormal and suspense and historical romance

See? Those are some of my favorite genres. No wonder we get along so well lol. What do you like to do in your free time?

Write or read

Don't we all! Sadly I never have enough time for either lol. Where is your favorite place to vacation?

New Hampshire, with my dad

Oh that's wonderful!! Why did you choose to write paranormal romance?

I find they are the most fun to read when I read them I like all the others don’t get me wrong it’s the paranormal that is my number one read

I couldn't agree more! Love the fact that with paranormal, you don't have to play by the rules :) What has been the most fun about working on your books?

Feeling the story come alive as I write them

Oh yes, the same thing happens to me. It's amazing, isn't it? What has been the hardest scene for you to write?

I can’t believe I am saying this but the sex scene

LOL don't worry sweetie, that was by far the hardest scene for me to write too! I freaked for days and days about how to write one. Do you have any favorite characters?

Michael he is a cutie and he brings a little laughter into the story too and so much more.

I adore characters like that <3 How did you come up with the premise for A Special’s Love?

I wanted something different calling them special’s instead of witches was different

I for one love how unique it is. It definitely sets your story apart :) For the lovelies who haven't yet read this awesome book (and if you haven't, seriously go buy it!), tell us more about what it means to be a SPECIAL please.

To have a gift that helps others , to help ease the pain someone feels after loosing there love ones

That's so wonderful, I'd love to have that gift <3 Tell us more about Bri and Kyle.

All I am gonna say is together they are unstoppable

Ooo you're being mysterious now. Lovelies, we're gonna make you work to find out! Would you want to have the SPECIAL abilities? Why or why not?

If I had any special abilities I would want the gift of healing to help someone who is injured or sad

Aw I love that answer <3 This is the first of a series. Tell us what we can expect from future books.

There will be 4 books in the whole series ,I hope to bring new characters and old ones back

I can't tell you how happy I am to hear that there's going to be so many more books! Yay! What's next for you?

Right now I am working on book 2 which will hopfully be out by the middle of april.

Hear that lovelies? You won't have long to wait for book 2!! Anything else you want your readers to know?

I am also working on another book that is not with this series . Hoping to have it ready by the beginning of summer.

  1. Love your comments Jennifer. If I had a gift, it would be to see the good in people and not the bad. People are too eager to judge on the bad and I want them to only see the good. My email address is: jmt3328@aol.com
