So why do I love autumn? I love the changing colors of the turning leaves. I adore the sound of the leaves crunching under my shoes, and I tend to pout if I step on a leaf and it doesn't crunch lol. Fall also holds a special place in my heart for being the season when I officially became an author <3

Miranda Stork: "I love autumn for lots of reasons, but I won't bore anyone with an essay. The colours of the landscape become a rich rainbow of reds and golds, there's always a scent of bonfires in the air, and it has that 'feel' of change about it. Plus it's nice to be able to get in from the cold and snuggle up in front of the fire. But also...my birthday is in autumn. So maybe I should love that the most. :)"
Tara S Wood: "My favorite thing about autumn is all the flavors! I love to cook and bake, and the start of autumn gets me going with all sorts of yummy things. Pumpkin bread, apple pies, cinnamon and caramel! The scents of the fall spices and the warm feelings of home and family are the best part of this season."
Caroline Levy: "What I love about Autumn. When the leaves fall from the trees making a big pile and jumping into it. The feeling of the wind in my hair and a very cold nose while out for a walk knowing there will the reward of a hot chocolate at the end."

DeleteI love the burst of colors! The fall earth tone colors are very festive and beautiful. I am lucky to live where you can see the seasons change. Unfortunately, at this moment I can’t recall where autumn was a major focus of a story. It has no drama that stands out really. I love reading any time so the season doesn’t matter.

We get to watch the seasons change here too. And I'm with you Belinda, I can't think of too many that feature autumn much in the story itself. I tried really hard to think of one when I was picking books to feature and just gave up.
