Paws with a Cause - Day 6 - Mad Cat Lady!!

Hello Lovelies! We have a total of 59 blogs that have gotten together to help raise money for a great cause. There are going to be some awesome prizes up for grabs for people that donate money to the cause. Here is a little about the company that we are raising the money for:

Paws With A Cause® enhances the independence and quality of life for people with disabilities nationally through custom-trained Assistance Dogs.
PAWS® increases awareness of the rights and roles of Assistance Dog teams through education and advocacy. Founded in 1979, Paws With A Cause is dedicated to helping its clients who are challenged by many disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Seizure Disorders, and Hearing Disorders to name just some. Each of our dogs are trained to meet the specific needs of our clients. Tasks may include opening and closing doors, picking up objects, pulling a wheelchair, turning lights on and off, and alerting a person to particular sounds like a telephone, doorbell, smoke detector and many others. Our dogs change lives by enhancing the independence of our clients. By just opening a door, a dog opens up the world for a person with a disability and your donations will go to making that happen. PAWS thanks you so much for your donation and allowing us to open more doors.

Now, today's feature pets belong to my amazing friend Caroline Levy, aka Latte. Latte is an amazing woman who lives with five adorable kitties. Yep my lovelies, she's a mad cat lady and fully embraces it! Read on to find out more about her five cats!

Meet Bonnie, Charey, Gizzy, Mac, and Millie!

How I became a mad cat lady

It started five years ago. I have always had dogs growing up and even though I had my gorgeous Rottie Zeus I decided we needed a cat. I looked around and found a lady looking for homes for the cutest little ginger kittens and yes we ended up with them both. It is wonderful whenever we go for check-ups at the vet as they are both pure ginger queens which is quite rare and causes quite the stir. As for the big bad Rottie he loved the fact that they were there. Unfortunately we no longer have Zeus a couple of days before his tenth birthday we discovered he had cancer in his right shoulder that was inoperable. The heart wrenching discussion to have my beautiful boy put to sleep was made but he is up in doggie heaven playing with his master.

This left us with the terrible twosome...Bonnie and Charey. Bonnie loves to play hide and seek, if I really want to find her she will have found a cuddly toy to cuddle up to. Charey is the independant one a little on the skittish side and I am mum the only one that gets a cuddle :)

Sisterly love

About eighteen months ago my daughter came home telling me her friend needed a home for one of their kittens. We went and met her and she was adorable and instantly fell in love with Lauren. How could I say no! Gizzy is the mischief maker in the household she thinks nothing of jumping from the top of a door onto your shoulders. She has this adorable habbit of suckling from Laurens elbow even to this day.

Recently I lost my best friend and I have the honour of looking after her two babies, Mac and Milly we have called them the wrinklie’s as they are now twelve years old. Mac is a bit of a drama queen and being the only man in the house has to make sure he is heard above everyone else. Then we have Mega Mills she is the most affectionate cat I have ever had she loves to roll onto her back and have a tummy tickle although she is also the bully of the household lol

I have five cats in total and I love every single minute of it. They all have their own personalities and individual habits.

If you can foster or adopt an older cat do so the rewards outweigh the problems...
