Tell your happy ending story!
The Happy Endings Giveaway Hop was organized by Reading Romances!
There are so many happy endings in my life because an ending is just the beginning of a new experience. My wonderful, loving husband is responsible for many of these happy endings, from the day we first met in our college dorm basement to the day we were married. I've never been more happy in my life than the day I married my husband and we officially began our lives together united as one (we'd been together for almost 7 years though when we got married!).
Most recently, he gave me one of the most memorable happy endings: The day I finished my first book. I still remember sobbing hysterically when I saw the book go live on Amazon. Without his love and encouragement, the many times he reassured me that people would read and love my book, and his endless patience when I said "Just a few more minutes, I want to finish this scene," I may never have fulfilled my dream of becoming a writer.
Breaking the Nexus, available NOW on Amazon!
Throughout history, myths and legends of extraordinary creatures have been told and retold. Fantastic tales of demons and banshees, gryphons and dragons, and of course, magic. Stories that every child grows to learn are nothing more than fantasy…or are they?Beyond the world you see lies a hidden realm, the Mythrian Realm, inhabited by all of the creatures you’ve been told are mere fiction. Only one thing lies between humans and the truth: the Nexus. A magical barrier erected millennia ago to separate the two realms, it has stood the test of time. Until now.For Mythrian Sha Phoenix, magic is nothing new. But when she stumbles upon a portal on the verge of collapse, her fate will forever change. Pulled through the portal into the Human Realm, she lands in the middle of Detective Connor Flynn’s brutal murder scene. Soon it is obvious someone is using blood magic to try to bring down the Nexus. Together, Connor and Sha must work to unravel the secrets before the barrier falls and the realms collide. The Nexus is breaking and all hell is about to unleash…literally.

Left my favorite happy ending in a book yesterday, here is my personal happy ending:
ReplyDeleteMy happy ending started 15 years ago. It was my first Christmas Eve with my boyfriend and we were on our way to my parents house after spending the day at his parents house.
He stopped at a gas station just off the freeway and went inside (which was odd – since we almost always pay at the pump). He came back with a red rose from the gas station and got down on one knee in his truck (since we live in Michigan and it is freezing cold outside at Christmas) and proposed to me.
It was the best day of the year for me! The day before my offer on my first house was accepted and I didn’t think things could get better – but they did. 15 years later he is still the love of my life – we are in our third house now (though I hate moving) and have a beautiful 6 year old daughter!

Though there are several couples with stories happy ever after, happy for now, and emerging, my favorite would be Damian and Savannah's story. Savannah has a horrible childhood and father, but meeting Damian turns her life around and when they connect many years later they eventually give into each other again! theresa.esterline@gmail.com
